What are the benefits of doing a 'First Aid 4 All' course?

What are the entry requirements for a first aid course?

There are no entry requirements for all course offered through ‘First Aid 4 All’, although it is recommended that you have literacy competencies equivalent to Level 2 as described in the Certificates of General Education for Adults.

How often do I need to update my qualifications?

Your ‘Apply First Aid’ qualification will be valid for 3 years and the Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that you update the CPR component annually.

Are your courses nationally recognized?

All first aid courses offered by ‘First Aid 4 All’ are nationally recognized and are aligned to the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). All certificates are issued by Australian First Aid a Registered Training Organistaion (RTO). Australian First Aid is registered to deliver, assess and issue Nationally Recognised Qualifications to its clients.

What do I need to bring?

Pen, paper, completed workbook if appropriate and comfortable clothes to perform the practical component of course.

What is the minimum and maximum number of people required for a course?

The minimum number is three people for a course to go ahead. The maximum number would be eight. This allows for individual quality time with the trainer and keeps the session fun and less stressful. We want you to build your confidence in a positive learning environment. Please note that these numbers are very flexible. Larger and smaller classes can be arranged at a cost, just send us an email with your details.

What if I don’t know any other people who want to do a first aid course?

Send through your details and you can begin the on-line component and when other individuals contact us in your area we can arrange a convenient time, date and place for all of you to complete the face to face component.

What if I don’t want the course to be held at my place of work or home?

An alternate venue can be arranged at an extra cost. We are very flexible so please do not hesitate to contact us.

Do you travel to regional Victoria?

At present ‘First Aid 4 All’ runs courses in the following areas: predominantly Geelong and surrounding areas, also the Western suburbs of Melbourne. Any requests beyond these areas will incur an extra travel cost.
